Autonomy in the classroom

This was one of the most important topics when talking about Learning in English class last semester.

The topic was introduced with the questions What do we do in our free time and if we clean our bedrooms by ourselves.

Autonomy was defined as the capacity of doing things without a teacher or parent command and in this way we can know taht autonomy starts at home with our parents, thus if we learn to do thing by ourselves at home we'll be excellent students and, of course, excellent teachers.

Autonomy is a real bussines because when a person is used to do things under someone else commands, he could become in a dependent person, so the teacher role would have become in a simple information transmission.

And this is not what we do.
